The Fireweed Initiative
-
Hi, I’m Natalie Thivierge. For more than 15 years, I’ve been delivering health, safety, and wellness programming in schools, workplaces, and communities across the Yukon. I believe positive change grows one conversation at a time, and that every community already holds the strength to make it happen.
-
My programs are active, hands-on, and built around connection. People are up and moving, sharing, laughing, and learning from each other, because that’s when the real conversations happen. Every session is shaped by the people in the room.
-
This work belongs to all of us. No matter your gender, age, culture, or background, you have a place in these conversations. Together, we can grow workplaces and communities where everyone feels safe, respected, and valued.
The Fireweed Initiative is based in Whitehorse, on the Traditional Territory of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council. I’m grateful to live and work across the lands of all fourteen Yukon First Nations, and I honour their knowledge, leadership, and connection to these lands.
